Maggie Ellis
Maggie is passionate about getting under the skin of people to help them grow and flourish. She started her working life as a history teacher before taking on the leadership of the church she and Roger started alongside a team of friends. She led the church into significant growth and impact across the local community, in the days when female leaders were a novelty.
In 2001 she became a qualified counsellor and founded an organisation specialising in supporting survivors of sexual trauma www.lifecentre.uk.com. She built Lifecentre from 2001 – 2017 whilst becoming a trauma and neuroscience specialist and an accredited Psychotherapist. In 2008 she started working alongside Jim McNeish www.neish.co facilitating leadership programmes for senior business leaders of large corporates. In 2015 she was headhunted by Aberkyn, a global leadership consultancy which was then bought out by McKinsey & Co. where she currently holds the role of Senior Affiliate Advisor. She also currently brings Executive coaching, culture work and team coaching through her own business. She is a deeply experienced leadership coach working multinationally and in a wide diversity of sectors. When not working, Maggie loves being out in nature, hiking, gardening and being with her children.
Roger Ellis
Over 40 years Roger has pioneered in leadership, being involved in starting Churches, Christian movements (including 24-7 Prayer 24-7prayer.com and Fusion https://fusionmovement.org), and Fishing businesses. In several of these contexts he has been involved in healthy succession, enabling him to move forwards and the teams behind to flourish.
Over the last decade Roger has led the 24-7 Prayer Communities network team as the network has been formed, recently handing the leadership to Alain Emerson. He spends his time coaching leaders, church teams, supporting church networks, writing, and where possible fishing. He’s also on the board of Westminster Theological Centre where he lectures. His passion and deep interest is Church, Leadership, Theology and Ecclesiology. Roger is part of the leadership team in Revelation Church https://www.revelation.org.uk. He’s married to Maggie, and they have two children who are now grown-ups and a gorgeous granddaughter.
